From a single proposal to your whole grant pipeline.
Start wherever you need to. Most teams begin with one project, then move to an ongoing retainer once they see the work. Either way, you get proposals built on a real budget and a writer who knows what funders look for.
Grant pipeline, on retainer
I run your grant function month to month. You stop thinking about deadlines, and I keep the pipeline full and moving.
- Prospect research and a live grant calendar
- Proposal writing, start to finish
- Budgets and financial narratives
- A short monthly funding brief
A single, defined project
Good for a specific deadline, or a first project before we talk about ongoing work.
- One full proposal, or a letter of inquiry
- Budget and narrative included
- One round of revisions
Funding Strategy
Not sure where to apply? I find the funders worth your time and map a plan to go after them, before anyone writes a word.
- A shortlist of funders matched to your mission
- Foundation and state sources
- Ranked by fit, with deadlines noted
- Rolls into writing whenever you're ready
Everything a strong application needs.
Pick the pieces you need, or hand me all of it.
Full grant proposals
Foundation and state, written start to finish.
Letters of inquiry and intent
Short, sharp, and tailored to the funder you're approaching.
Funder prospect research
A list of funders that actually fit your mission and programs.
Budgets and narratives
Numbers that hold up to a funder's read, explained clearly.
Program and logic models
The framework funders want to see behind your request.
Grant reporting
Clean post-award reports that keep your funders close.
Clear pricing, no surprises.
Small, one-off tasks are billed at $70 an hour, and $85 for any hours beyond an estimate we agree on first. Projects and ongoing retainers are quoted to your scope after a short call, so you know the cost before any work begins.
I charge for the work, never a percentage of your award and never a fee for winning. That is the ethical standard for grant writers, and it is the only way I work.
A couple of things people ask.
What if we're not ready for grants yet?
It happens, and it's better to know early. If your organization needs to get funding-ready before chasing grants, I'll tell you straight, and I'll point you to Funding Prep Studio, a separate practice I trust for exactly that groundwork. When you're ready to pursue grants, the door here is open.
Do you ever charge a percentage of what we win?
Never. I charge for the work, not a cut of your award and not a fee for winning. That's the ethical standard for grant writers, and it's the only way I work.
Not sure which fits?
Take the 30-second quiz and you'll get a recommendation, or book a call and we'll talk it through.
